Trista Gleason, Varsity Cheer Coach
“I am a wife, a proud mom of three, blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-love, and I am just smitten with my grandson. I love Jesus with my whole heart. My faith is the foundation of everything I do and guides how I serve others.
Rosehill feels more like family than a workplace. Coaching cheer is more than teaching skills and routines; it’s about building confidence, character, and strong young adults. I truly love pouring into the team, encouraging them to lead with integrity, work hard, and support one another.
It is an honor to walk alongside these athletes, helping them grow not only as cheerleaders but as leaders and young men and women of faith. I am grateful every day for the chance to do what I love and to make a positive impact where God has planted me.”
Meet the Coaches
Ashley Moore, Varsity Cheer Coach
Ashley Moore grew up dancing and began teaching at her hometown studio at just 13 years old. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and danced with the TAMU Dance Arts Society during her time in College Station. Ashley later spent five years teaching 7th grade and served as a dance team director for two years, while also dancing with the Monelle Dance Company.
After stepping away from education to become a stay-at-home mom, Ashley owned and operated her own interior design business for ten years before feeling called by the Lord to close that chapter and step fully into what He had next. She and her husband have two children at Rosehill Christian School, where Ashley also serves as the Athletic Booster Club President.
Now as Varsity Cheer Coach, Ashley believes coaching is about far more than technique, jumps, or tumbling. Her heart is to help develop young women who are responsible, caring, hardworking, and determined—girls who grow in confidence and character while honoring Christ in all that they do.
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4
