At Rosehill Christian School, our Lil’ Eagles and Preschool programs are designed to nurture the whole child as they begin their journey God has for them. We equip our youngest learners to thrive inside the classroom as well as fostering a spirit of play and exploration.
Play-Based Learning
Hands-on play is a cornerstone of early childhood education. It fosters creativity, problem-solving skills, and social development, laying a strong foundation for future learning.
Hands-on Activities
Children engage in activities that stimulate their senses and curiosity. Arts and crafts, sensory play, and science experiments allow them to explore concepts through direct and meaningful experiences.
Storytellings & Read Alouds
Teachers nurture language development, expand vocabulary, and inspire a lifelong love of reading through interactive storytelling and read-aloud sessions.
Individualized Instruction
Instruction is tailored to meet the unique needs, interests, and learning styles of each student, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged.
Active Exploration
We believe students learn best through hands-on experiences. By actively engaging with their environment, they develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Family Involvement
Family involvement is central to student success. Consistent communication between teachers and families fosters a supportive learning environment that extends beyond the classroom.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
Our Preschool programs are designed to allow students to move seamlessly from one stage to the next, mastering important skills as they continue toward kindergarten. The following programs are available in our preschool program:
Pre-K 3 - Three years old by September 1
Pre-K 4 - Four years old by September 1
Bridge - For young five-year-olds who can benefit from a kindergarten preparation class.
Our full-day Pre-K program offers a gentle rhythm for our youngest learners, balancing intentional classroom structure with plenty of room for imaginative play, hands-on exploration, and peaceful rest.
