Engaging the Academically Advanced
At Rosehill Christian School, we are committed to preparing students to fulfill the purpose God has designed for their lives. Our focus is on “Engaging the Academically Advanced” by equipping our students to become the thinkers and leaders of tomorrow.
Our qualified teachers bring exceptional credentials and expertise to the classroom, delivering a rigorous, top-tier curriculum. To our teachers, the word “engaging” means that our teachers spend time building relationships with students in a warm, responsive, and Christ-centered environment that fosters both academic excellence and personal growth.
Lil’ Eagles & Preschool
Rosehill Christian School’s youngest little learners are immersed in the Lil’ Eagles and Preschool program (infants - Bridge). We believe a child’s sense of self-worth is enhanced by learning that God has designed them as a fantastic one-of-a-kind! RCS preschoolers learn how to respect and enjoy each other’s differences and to play with a spirit of sharing under the guidance of our supportive and nurturing teachers. As born-again Christians, our teachers delight in sharing the love of Christ with children. Daily RCS preschool activities include cutting and pasting, counting numbers, learning the alphabet, Bible reading, reciting Scripture, engaging in music and movement, and playing to foster the joy of each new day!
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The Elementary School of Rosehill Christian School (Kindergarten through 5th grade) serves as an invaluable foundation for future success in learning. These younger students are guided by Christ-like teachers to master the fundamentals of reading, writing, and mathematics in an atmosphere permeated with a deep appreciation for Scripture. Small group instruction in reading and mathematics allows students to be challenged based on their academic potential and progress. The 6+1 Traits of Writing are implemented to ensure that Rosehill Christian School students can express themselves through their writing. Elementary students are engaged in a program where we recognize and honor individuals who show exemplary Christ-like actions towards their classmates, teachers, and others. We want to celebrate with them those opportunities where they reflect Christ in their behavior.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
HIGH SCHOOL
Middle school students at Rosehill Christian School (6th through 8th grade) are making the transition from elementary to middle school by increasing expectations for their academic performance and taking personal responsibility for learning. Composing and examining aptitudes are refined throughout the instructive programs, and logical and coherent data and methodologies are centered. The middle school Bible curriculum includes a chronological overview of both the Old Testament and the life of Christ in the New Testament. Rosehill Christian School middle school students emerge with an impressive familiarity of important Biblical figures and locations, which is often the envy of the adults in their lives. Middle school athletes are instructed in the fundamentals of their chosen sport in order to experience the value and camaraderie of a team as well as to further their physical education experience. Rosehill Christian School middle school athletes have attained notable success in these endeavors as they transition into the high school athletic program.
Our well-rounded, challenging education also provides students at Rosehill Christian High School a Christ-centered education. The high school curriculum includes College-preparatory, Honors, Pre-AP, AP, and Dual Credit courses. In addition to challenging coursework, the high school experience includes opportunities for spiritual growth, community service, athletic participation, and social activities. We aim to graduate young men and women who are not only prepared for the next academic level, but are also equipped with a strong Biblical worldview, have a relationship with Jesus Christ, and are able to confidently defend their faith wherever God may lead them.
